Rainbow Six Siege Mid-Season Update: Console Mouse and Keyboard, Ranked Maps, and 1v1 Arcade
Rainbow Six Siege's Operation System Override mid-season update is live. The practical changes are native mouse and keyboard support on consoles with PC cross-play routing, a new ranked map rotation, the return of 1v1 Arcade for two weeks, and targeted operator balance work.

Console players using a native mouse and keyboard now enter the PC cross-play pool, according to Ubisoft. Do not expect the update to make controller-only console matches behave the same way. Before ranked, check the current map rotation. Before changing an operator pick, read the exact gadget, recoil, speed, or cooldown change rather than assuming a general meta verdict.
Ubisoft says native mouse and keyboard support now includes menus and system interactions on consoles. Its matchmaking consequence matters: players using mouse and keyboard are placed into the PC cross-play pool.

Ubisoft says Mousetrap remains in place for players who try to gain an unfair advantage with spoofed input.

The mid-season update brings back 1v1 Arcade for a limited two-week run. Ubisoft describes shorter preparation, automatically revealed bomb sites, Attrition in place of bans, and ranked-skill matchmaking.
House is removed from the 1v1 Arcade rotation.
Coastline, Consulate, and Outback are added, bringing the rotation to five maps.
Bomb sites are revealed automatically and preparation is shorter.
Attrition replaces bans, so an operator used in one round cannot be selected again during that match.
Ranked maps and operator changes
Kanal, Villa, and Theme Park enter the Ranked rotation, while Coastline, Outback, and Emerald Plains leave it. Ubisoft also lists exact operator adjustments, so the affected kit matters more than a broad claim that an operator is simply better or worse.
Dokkaebi's per-target cooldown is 14 seconds, while the global cooldown is removed.
Wamai's gadget activates faster and recharges faster, with a deployable shield added and C4 replacing impact grenades.
Jager changes to 3 speed and 1 armor. Zofia gains ammunition and grenades, while Lesion, Twitch, Melusi, Rauora, and the 416-C receive listed adjustments.
Gridlock, Montagne, Flores, Ela, Azami, and Caveira enter Ubisoft's rotating trial pool.
